Welcome to While You Wait Ministries. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of whileyouwaitministries.com, connect.whileyouwaitministries.com, related landing pages, forms, event pages, digital resources, and other online services operated by While You Wait Ministries ("WUW," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using our services, submitting a form, registering for an event, downloading a resource, or communicating with us through our online platforms, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.
1. Ministry PurposeWUW provides Christ-centered education, encouragement, events, community experiences, and ministry resources. Our content is intended for spiritual formation and general educational purposes. It is not a substitute for medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other licensed professional advice.
2. Eligibility and AuthorityYou must be legally able to agree to these Terms. If you submit information or enter into a sponsorship inquiry on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to provide the information and communicate for that organization.
3. Acceptable UseYou may use our services only for lawful purposes and in a way that respects WUW, our community, other users, and applicable third-party platforms. You may not interfere with the operation or security of the services, attempt unauthorized access, submit false or misleading information, misuse another person's information, or use our content for unlawful or harmful activity.
4. Accounts and Information You ProvideSome services may require an account, registration, application, or form submission. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to update it when needed. You are responsible for safeguarding any account credentials and for activity under your account.
5. Sponsorship InquiriesSubmitting a sponsorship form or expressing interest does not create a sponsorship agreement, guarantee acceptance, reserve a sponsorship level, or promise specific benefits. A sponsorship becomes final only after WUW and the sponsor confirm the arrangement in writing and any required payment or contribution is received.
WUW may accept, decline, or request changes to a proposed sponsorship when reasonably necessary to protect the ministry's mission, faith commitments, attendees, reputation, event needs, or legal obligations.
6. Sponsorship Benefits and MaterialsSponsor recognition, logo placement, vendor space, platform acknowledgments, social media mentions, attendee materials, and other benefits are subject to the final written sponsorship arrangement, production deadlines, venue rules, and available space.
Sponsors confirm that they have the right to provide and authorize WUW to use submitted names, logos, trademarks, images, advertisements, and promotional materials for agreed sponsorship recognition. WUW may request edits to materials that conflict with event standards, ministry values, venue requirements, or applicable law.
7. In-Kind ContributionsIn-kind sponsorships may include goods or services such as meals, printing, workbooks, childcare support, or audio and visual services. Acceptance, estimated value, recognition, delivery requirements, and deadlines must be confirmed in writing. Unless WUW specifically agrees otherwise in writing, an in-kind inquiry does not create an obligation for either party.
8. Event Information and ChangesEvent dates, times, venues, speakers, schedules, formats, benefits, and programming may change because of safety concerns, venue requirements, weather, illness, low enrollment, circumstances beyond our control, or ministry needs. When practical, WUW will provide reasonable notice of material changes using the contact information provided.
9. Payments, Refunds, and CancellationsIf a sponsorship, registration, product, donation, or service requires payment, the payment page, invoice, sponsorship agreement, or written confirmation may include additional terms. Those specific terms control if they conflict with this section.
Unless a written sponsorship agreement or payment page states otherwise, sponsorship payments and contributions are nonrefundable after benefits, production, promotion, purchasing, or event commitments have begun. 10. Email and Text CommunicationsWhen you provide contact information, we may send service-related communications about your inquiry, registration, event participation, requested resource, account, or sponsorship coordination.
Marketing email or text messages will be sent only as permitted by applicable law and the consent choices presented on the form. Consent to marketing messages is not a condition of purchase or sponsorship. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. You may reply STOP to opt out of text messages and HELP for assistance. You may use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email to stop marketing emails.
11. PrivacyOur collection and use of personal information are described in the WUW Privacy Policy. By using our services, you acknowledge that information may be processed through service providers such as GoHighLevel, website hosting platforms, payment processors, email providers, and community platforms as described in that policy.
12. Intellectual PropertyUnless otherwise stated, WUW owns or is authorized to use the website design, ministry name, logos, written content, videos, audio, graphics, downloads, event materials, curriculum, and other content available through the services. You may use materials for personal, noncommercial purposes only, unless WUW gives written permission for another use.
You may not copy, reproduce, sell, distribute, modify, publish, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit WUW content without prior written permission, except where applicable law allows otherwise.
13. User SubmissionsIf you submit a testimonial, story, comment, image, video, logo, or other content, you retain ownership of your content. You grant WUW permission to store and use it to respond to your request or provide the service you requested. WUW will seek additional permission before publicly using personal stories, testimonials, photographs, or videos for promotional purposes unless the submission form or a separate release clearly authorizes that use.
14. Third-Party Services and LinksOur services may link to or use third-party platforms, including GoHighLevel, Circle, payment processors, video platforms, social networks, and other service providers. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices. WUW is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or practices that are outside our reasonable control.
15. DisclaimersThe services and content are provided on an "as available" basis. WUW does not guarantee uninterrupted access, specific spiritual, personal, business, relationship, or event outcomes, or that every error will be corrected immediately. Nothing in these Terms limits a right or warranty that cannot legally be limited.
16. Limitation of LiabilityTo the fullest extent permitted by law, WUW and its leaders, volunteers, employees, contractors, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the services. WUW's total liability for a paid service will not exceed the amount paid to WUW for the specific service giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law does not allow that limitation.
17. Governing LawThese Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact WUW and make a good-faith effort to resolve the concern informally, unless immediate legal action is necessary to protect a legal right.
18. Changes to These TermsWe may update these Terms as our services, events, technology, or legal obligations change. The effective date will be updated when changes are published. Continued use of the services after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
