Someone recently sent me a video from a camping trip—watching the water ripple, the fish swim, and the trees sway in the wind. It brought stillness and peace.
Choose peace.
Even when it doesn’t choose you back.
Even when your mind is loud and your body is tired.
Sometimes peace takes intention. So go find something to marvel at—a tree 🌳, a sky ☁️, a sound 👂🏾, a smile. Let your soul breathe and remember: God is near.
Scripture:
“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you.”
—Isaiah 26:3 (NLT)
Prayer:
Dear God,
Thank You for being our peace—even when we don’t feel it. Help us slow down, breathe deeply, and lean into Your stillness. Show us how to find wonder in the simple things. Quiet our hearts. Focus our thoughts. And remind us You’re always near.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
Action Step:
Take 5 minutes today to sit still. Look at something beautiful. 👀
Listen to something peaceful. 👂🏾
Let your heart exhale.
Let peace find its way in.
You are held. You are loved. You are covered.
🙌🏾💛🌿✨
