Prayer & Perspective

Perspective

You only need grace for the next step. Sometimes waiting becomes overwhelming because we are trying to carry tomorrow while still standing in today. How much longer? What if nothing changes? What if I cannot keep doing this? Those questions take today’s strength and spend it on tomorrow’s uncertainty. God rarely gives us the entire map. More often, He gives us enough light for the next step. That is how endurance is built: One prayer.

One decision. One act of obedience. One more day of trusting God. Maybe today’s victory is not a breakthrough. Maybe it is simply getting up and trying again. Maybe it is praying again, applying again, forgiving again, showing up again, or refusing to let discouragement determine your attitude. Small obedience is still obedience. Galatians 6:9 does not tell you to produce the harvest. It tells you not to give up before the proper time. Your assignment is faithfulness.

God handles the harvest. So breathe. Pray. Take the next step. Then trust God with the one after that. You don’t have to finish today. You just have to keep going.

Scripture

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

Galatians 6:9 (NIV)

Prayer

Lord,

Thank You that I do not have to carry tomorrow today. Give me grace for this moment and strength for the next step. When I become overwhelmed by how far I still have to go, remind me how faithfully You have already brought me this far. Show me what obedience looks like today, and help me trust You with the harvest.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
