All month we’ve been standing at Hope Point with Mary Magdalene. She started this story weeping outside a tomb, no answers, no audience, no one ready to believe her. And then she encountered Jesus.
In John 20:17, He gives her an assignment: Go tell my brothers. So she does. She goes and tells the disciples, “I have seen the Lord.”
She didn’t wait until she had it all figured out. She didn’t wait until the world was ready. She didn’t wait until everyone believed her. Resurrection moved her, and she moved.
That’s what encountering Jesus does.
So this week’s question is for you: What has God been growing in you during your waiting season, and how is it moving you?
Maybe you’ve been at His feet in prayer, in Scripture, in grief, in silence. Maybe this season has felt long and heavy and unclear. But here’s what we know to be true: waiting isn’t wasted when God is at work.
You’ve been at His feet. It may be time to go and tell.
If this resonates with you, watch this week’s full While You Wait Wednesday message from Dr. Lael and let it meet you where you are.
