Welcome HOPErs!
Hi there, and welcome to While You Wait Ministries. Before you scroll to the next thing, take a breath. Your waiting season is not wasted time—it's a divine classroom where God is preparing you for what's ahead. Here, we gather to remember that hope still works, healing still happens, and you're not waiting alone.
You're right where you're meant to be. Let's wait well together.
With love and expectancy,
Rev. Dr. Lael C. Melville

Did you know, the way you describe your pain matters more than you think.
If “I’m fine” is the only sentence you allow yourself to say, you are limiting what God can restore in you. New words create new understanding. Instead of minimizing what you carry, God is inviting you to express it. To say, “I feel overwhelmed.” “I feel unseen.” “I feel hurt.”
These are not complaints, beloved. These are pathways. Your words give shape to what God wants to address in you. So stop shrinking your truth to fit into “I’m fine.” There is more healing waiting in honest language.
Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. Psalm 62:8
Father, help me find the right words for what I feel. Teach me to express, not suppress. Amen.
Write one honest sentence about how you feel.
