Pain has a way of isolating us. It tells you to keep it in. Handle it quietly. Don’t burden anyone. Don’t be too much.
I have lived that lie, and I am telling you today, it is a lie.
God created space for two things in your healing. Him, and safe people. Both. Healing grows in expression, not in isolation. When you finally release what you have been holding by yourself, you make room for support, for clarity, for peace. The weight was never meant to stay on your shoulders alone.
Find your safe space. Find your safe person. And let some of it out.
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2 (NIV)
Father, help me release what I have been holding alone. Lead me to safe spaces and safe people. Amen.
