🙏 Prayer and Perspective: Beauty in the Wounds
🌟 Perspective:
The wounds of Jesus are not only signs of His suffering but powerful symbols of love, redemption, and healing. He didn’t hide His scars—He revealed them. And in doing so, He showed us that healing doesn’t erase the pain, but transforms it. His wounds are a holy invitation for us to bring our own into the light. In Christ, even the broken places become sacred.
✝️ “Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see…” — Luke 24:39
Jesus invites us to touch the places He was wounded—not to glorify the pain, but to remember the promise: in Him, nothing is wasted.
🙏 Prayer:
Lord Jesus,
Thank You for bearing wounds so that we could find healing. Help us not to hide our pain, but to offer it to You, knowing You understand every sorrow. Use even our scars for Your glory. Teach us to trust that through Your suffering, we are made whole.
Amen.
📝 One Action:
Today, ✍️ write down one wound you are still carrying. Offer it to God in prayer, and ask Him to show you how He might use it to help someone else.
Blessings,
Dr. Melville✨
