Small Acts Carry Big Love
PERSPECTIVE
Hey friend,
Do not underestimate small acts of care.
Really.
We live in a world that celebrates big gestures, big platforms, big moments, big announcements. But honestly? Some of the holiest things happen quietly and consistently.
A prayer before work. A thoughtful text. A ride to an appointment. Checking on somebody after a hard week. Remembering someone’s important date. Dropping off groceries. Listening without rushing.
Small acts carry big love.
And sometimes people survive difficult seasons because somebody kept doing small kind things over and over again.
That matters.
I think we sometimes talk ourselves out of helping because what we can offer feels too small. We assume somebody else can do more. Somebody else is more qualified. Somebody else has more time, more money, more resources.
But love has never only been about quantity.
It is about willingness.
Jesus fed people with a small lunch. He noticed overlooked people. He stopped for hurting people others walked past. Again and again, scripture reminds us that God uses ordinary things in powerful ways.
So maybe the question today is not: “Can I solve everything?”
Maybe the better question is: “What good can I do with what I have right now?”
Do not dismiss your kindness because it feels ordinary to you.
It may feel life-giving to someone else.

PRAYER
Father, help me pay attention to the small ways I can love people well. Teach me that simple acts of kindness still matter deeply. Amen.
