God Is Faithful in the Middle

PERSPECTIVE

Most people celebrate beginnings and endings. We celebrate new opportunities and successful conclusions. What often goes unnoticed is the middle.

The middle is where faith is tested.

The middle is where patience is stretched.

The middle is where many people become discouraged.

Maybe you find yourself there today. Not where you started and not where you hope to be. Just somewhere in between.

The middle can feel uncertain because it lacks clarity. The excitement of the beginning has faded, and the fulfillment of the promise has not yet arrived.

Friend, do not mistake being in the middle for being forgotten.

Some of God’s most important work happens in these in-between seasons. The middle teaches trust. The middle develops endurance. The middle strengthens character.

Most importantly, the middle reveals God’s faithfulness.

You may not have all the answers today. You may not know exactly how the story will unfold. But you can know this: the God who brought you this far is not leaving you now.

Stay steady.

God is faithful in the middle.

PRAYER

Father, thank You for Your faithfulness in every season. Help me trust You in the middle places of life and remember that You are working even when I cannot yet see the outcome. Amen.
