PERSPECTIVE

Have you ever wished God would simply hand you the entire plan? Most of us would love a roadmap for the next year, the next decision, or even the next conversation. But throughout Scripture, God rarely gives His people the whole picture. Instead, He gives them Himself.

God guided Noah one instruction at a time. He led Abraham one step at a time. He directed the Israelites one day at a time. Jesus invited His disciples to follow Him long before they understood where that journey would lead.

God still works that way today.

If you’re waiting for clarity, don’t mistake God’s silence for His absence. Often, He is shaping your character before revealing your calling. He is preparing your heart before opening the next door. Waiting is not wasted time—it is holy preparation.

Your responsibility isn’t to know the entire journey. Your responsibility is to faithfully follow the One who does.

As you begin this week, resist the temptation to rush ahead. Slow down long enough to recognize that God is already at work in the step you’re standing in today. His guidance isn’t based on your ability to figure life out; it’s rooted in His faithfulness to lead His children.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for being the God who sees the beginning and the end while lovingly walking with me through today. Forgive me for the times I’ve wanted answers more than I’ve wanted Your presence. Teach me to trust You even when I cannot see the whole path ahead.

Give me ears to hear Your voice, courage to take the next faithful step, and peace to leave tomorrow in Your hands. Help me to walk confidently, knowing that You are leading me with wisdom, love, and purpose.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
