As this week comes to a close, pause and look back.
Where did you see God guiding you? Maybe it wasn’t through dramatic answers but through unexpected peace, a timely conversation, an open door, or the quiet assurance that you weren’t walking alone.
Those moments matter.
Waiting seasons are often filled with evidence of God’s faithfulness that we overlook because we’re focused on what hasn’t happened yet. Gratitude changes our perspective. It reminds us that God has been working all along, even when we couldn’t see the full picture.
Take time today to celebrate progress instead of perfection. Celebrate every step of obedience, every answered prayer, every lesson learned, and every reminder that God has remained faithful.
The God who began His good work in you is not finished yet. He is still leading, still shaping, still preparing, and still keeping every promise.
“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.” — Philippians 1:6 (NIV)
Lord,
Thank You for every way You’ve guided me this week. Open my eyes to recognize Your faithfulness, even in the ordinary moments. Fill me with gratitude and confidence as I continue following wherever You lead.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Before the day ends, write down three ways you’ve seen God’s faithfulness this week. Share one with someone who needs encouragement.
Then join us again next week in the HOPErs Community as we continue growing together.

Waiting is never wasted when God is in it. Love, Dr. Lael.
