Healthy boundaries aren’t about keeping people out. They’re about protecting the peace, purpose, and calling God has entrusted to you.
Today is While You Wait Wednesday.
Peace doesn’t happen by accident. It is protected through wisdom.
God never asks us to build walls around our hearts, but He does call us to guard them. Healthy boundaries help us protect our peace, preserve our purpose, and strengthen our relationships. They create space for prayer, rest, and the people and priorities God has entrusted to us.
As you watch today’s While You Wait Wednesday, remember that boundaries are not about keeping love out. They’re about making room for God’s best. A well-guarded heart is free to love generously because it is rooted securely in Christ.
“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
Proverbs 4:23 (NIV)
Father,
Thank You for caring about every part of my life. Show me where I need stronger boundaries and give me the courage to honor them. Fill my heart with Your peace so I can love others from a place of health and wholeness.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
