PERSPECTIVE
Waiting often feels like inactivity, but in God’s Kingdom, waiting is one of the greatest acts of trust. Wisdom teaches us that not every opportunity requires an immediate response and not every delay is a denial.Our culture celebrates speed, but God values surrender. Sometimes the wisest thing you can do is pause long enough to hear His voice before taking your next step.God sees what you cannot see. He knows what is around the corner long before you arrive there. His timing is never late, never rushed, and never accidental. Waiting with God is never wasted because He is always working, even when we cannot yet see the outcome.
SCRIPTURE
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5–6 (NIV)
PRAYER
Father,
Teach me to trust Your timing more than my own. Help me resist the temptation to rush ahead of You. Fill my heart with patience, confidence, and peace as I wait for Your direction.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
