Look at what God has already brought you through. There were moments you did not know how you would make it. There were prayers you prayed through tears. There were doors that closed without explanation. There were endings you never chose. There were seasons when simply getting through the day required everything you had. And yet, You are still here. Not because everything was easy. Because God kept you. Sometimes we become so focused on what we lost that we forget to recognize what remained.
Your faith remained. Your purpose remained. Your ability to love remained. Your capacity to dream remained. Most importantly, God remained. What you survived did not eliminate your future. It prepared you to enter it differently. Wiser. Stronger. More discerning. More compassionate. More dependent on God. Do not confuse survival with your final destination. God did not simply bring you out of something. He may be preparing to bring you into something. There is life after loss.
There is purpose after disappointment. There is joy after grief. There are new beginnings after endings. Do not stop at what happened. God is still working on what happens next.
“I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten…”
Joel 2:25 (NIV)
Lord,
Thank You for everything You have already brought me through. When I am tempted to focus only on what I lost, remind me of what You preserved. Thank You for keeping my faith, my purpose, and my hope alive. Use everything I have experienced to prepare me for what comes next. Give me courage to dream again. Give me faith to expect again. Give me strength to move forward again. I believe there is still more ahead because You are still with me.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
