Prayer & Perspective

Let me end the week with this.

You are not strong because you have everything figured out. You are not strong because you finally got the answer or fixed the problem or pulled yourself together. You are strong because God is with you.

Sit with that for a second. It takes all the pressure off.

You do not have to perform. You do not have to prove. You do not have to perfect anything on your own. Strength that is rooted in God’s presence is steady. It does not rise and fall with your circumstances. It lets you stay soft without being afraid you will break. It lets you stand firm without becoming rigid.

When you rely on His presence, you stop striving and start standing. You stop forcing and start trusting. This is sustainable strength. This is the kind of strength that carries you forward with peace and clarity instead of exhaustion.

This is what God has been building in you all week.

Father, ground my strength in Your presence. Help me rest and stand in You today. Amen.

Say it out loud, even if your voice shakes. God is with me, so I can stand. Then move forward with that on your lips.

The kind of strength we have been talking about all week is not something you build by yourself. It grows in the company of women who are doing the same work. Our HOPErs community is where that happens. If you have been carried by anything you read this week, come keep walking with us. We would love to have you.
