Hey everyone, and welcome to While You Wait Wednesday! Today, let’s reflect on a powerful truth: “I am a friend of God.”
Remember the “Friend of Jesus” video? It reminds us that our relationship with Jesus is deeply personal. He calls you a friend. Take a moment now and affirm it: “I am a friend of Jesus.” Let that sink in.
Being a friend of Jesus means we also learn how to be a friend like Jesus. How did He show friendship? With love, compassion, and by showing up.
Here’s your call to action this week:
- Reach Out: Connect with someone you know loves Jesus. Share encouragement and let them pour into you. Friendship is a two-way street!
- Show Up: Think of someone who might be struggling. Reach out to them with an act of kindness this week. A simple text, a coffee, or just listening can make a huge difference.
