God Does Not Shame Your Need
Perspective
We are often taught to be strong, capable, and self-sufficient. But God does not call you to carry everything alone. He is not frustrated by your need, He is drawn to it.
Like a mother who responds to her child, He moves toward what aches.
Your need is not a weakness to hide. It is a place God will meet you with care.
Scripture
As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem. – Isaiah 66:13Isaiah 66:13
Prayer
Father, remove the shame around my need.
Help me receive Your care fully.
Amen.
