Keep Looking Up

PERSPECTIVE

Life has a way of pulling our eyes downward.

We focus on deadlines, disappointments, obstacles, unfinished goals, and everything that feels out of place. Before long, we’re so focused on what’s happening around us that we lose sight of the One walking with us through it all.

The issue isn’t that challenges exist. It’s when they become our primary focus.

Where we look shapes how we live.

When we focus only on what’s wrong, discouragement grows. When we focus only on what we can’t control, anxiety grows. When we focus only on ourselves, fear grows.

But when we turn our attention to God, our perspective shifts.

The situation may not change immediately. The challenge may not disappear overnight. The answer may still take time. Yet something changes within us when we remember who God is.

Looking up reminds us that God is bigger than every obstacle, stronger than every challenge, and more faithful than every fear.

Today, lift your eyes again.

Not because life is perfect.

Because God is with you.

PRAYER

Father, when stress and uncertainty compete for my attention, draw my eyes back to You. Replace fear with trust, and help me remember throughout this day that Your presence is greater than every challenge before me. Amen.
