Small Steps Count

Many of us are waiting for a breakthrough while overlooking the small steps right in front of us. A whispered prayer. A healthy choice. A hard conversation handled with grace. Those things matter more than we realize.

Zechariah 4:10 tells us not to despise small beginnings. God often builds something great out of small acts of faithfulness, the kind that don’t feel like much in the moment but add up over time.

Don’t wait until everything is perfect to move forward. Take the next step God has placed in front of you today. Small steps create momentum, and momentum creates growth.

Stay steady. God is working even when progress feels slow.

Scripture
“Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.” — Zechariah 4:10

Prayer
Father, help me stop waiting for perfect conditions before I move. Show me the small step You want me to take today, and give me the faith to trust that it matters. Amen.
