Many of us feel pressure to move faster.
Faster results. Faster growth. Faster success. Faster answers.
The world rewards speed, but God often develops people through faithfulness.
There is nothing wrong with ambition. There is nothing wrong with wanting to grow. But when speed becomes more important than obedience, we can find ourselves rushing ahead of God’s timing.
Friend, God is not measuring your life against someone else’s pace.
Your assignment is not to keep up with everyone around you. Your assignment is to remain faithful to what God has placed in front of you.
Some of the strongest trees grow slowly. Some of the deepest faith is developed over time. Some of the greatest lessons are learned in seasons that feel slower than we would choose.
Do not mistake slow growth for no growth.
God is still working.
God is still teaching.
God is still leading.
Trust His pace.
Trust His process.
Trust His timing.
Stay steady.
“Let us not become weary in doing good.” — Galatians 6:9
Father, help me resist the pressure to rush. Teach me to value faithfulness over speed and trust Your timing more than my own expectations. Amen.
Notice one area where you’ve been rushing and intentionally slow down today.
The HOPErs community encourages women to trust God’s timing and remain faithful through every season.
