Waiting is rarely comfortable.
Most of us would prefer answers over uncertainty, movement over delay, and clarity over questions. Yet waiting is a reality we all experience.
The challenge is that waiting can feel unproductive. We wonder if time is being lost. We question whether progress is happening. We become anxious for what comes next.
But God often uses waiting differently than we do.
While we are focused on getting through the wait, God is often working within it.
He is strengthening faith.
He is building character.
He is teaching dependence.
He is preparing us for what comes next.
Friend, the waiting season may not be your favorite season, but it does not have to be a wasted season.
Every season has purpose.
Every season has lessons.
Every season has opportunities for growth.
The same God who is with you in the breakthrough is with you in the waiting.
Trust Him.
Stay steady.
And remember: waiting is never wasted when God is at work.
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.” — Isaiah 40:31
Father, help me trust You in seasons of waiting. Teach me to see purpose where I am tempted to see delay and to believe that You are working even when I cannot see immediate results. Amen.
Spend ten quiet minutes reflecting on what God may be teaching you in this season.
