Biblical encouragement for trusting God when answers have not come and you cannot yet see what He is doing.
Some of God’s greatest work happens in the moments when it feels like nothing is happening at all. While you’re waiting for answers, He is strengthening your faith, refining your character, and preparing your heart for what comes next. His silence is never His absence, and His delay is never His neglect. Looking back, you’ll often discover that what seemed like waiting was actually preparation. As you finish this week, don’t measure God’s faithfulness by how many answers you’ve received. Measure it by His unchanging presence that has carried you every step of the way.
“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.”
Hebrews 10:23
What does Hebrews 10:23 teach about trusting God while you wait? Hebrews 10:23 calls believers to hold firmly to hope because God is faithful to what He has promised. Trust during a waiting season does not depend on seeing immediate results. It rests on the character of the One who made the promise. When answers have not come, we can keep trusting God by remembering His past faithfulness, returning to His Word, and taking the next faithful step while believing He is still at work.
Father,
Thank You for being faithful in every season, even when I cannot see what You’re doing. Help me continue trusting You with confidence, knowing that You are always working for my good and Your glory.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
